When it comes to netbooks, Acer is king of the world (sorry for the Titanic reference).  Despite eagerness from Asus, HP, and Samsung they are primed to keep the lead throughout 2010.
Even though Acer isn’t expecting sales to grow dramatically in 2010, they have at least three things going for them which will guarantee that they keep leading the pack.

The Acer Aspire One is one of the most popular netbooks on the market right now, especially in the US.  Acer is serious about wanting to control the netbook market and bounce Dell as the number two shipper of computers.  To help demonstrate their commitment to this goal, Acer is planning to announce a 10 inch version of the netbook.  If the Aspire One is any indication, the other manufacturers will have a lot to worry about.

If a deal looks to good to be true, it usually is.  After searching Google Product Search, a listing was found for an Acer One netbook is available for $250.  This is a great discount for the $349 it usually goes for at most stores online.
The name of the company selling the discounted netbook is LLC Corporation and has over 100 satisfactory reviews but the website isn’t very reassuring.
Buyer beware.

First isn’t always best, just ask Asus.  They took lead in promoting their Eee PC last year.  Now Acer has come on strong to promote their Acer Aspire One.  So much so that Acer is looking to ship 6 million netbooks which is more than the 5 million Asus is looking to ship in 2008.
Acer has been pricing themselves very competitively in the market and they are one of the few netbooks which can be had with a 6 cell battery standard instead of having to pay for one separately.  …
