MSI announced two netbooks during CES 2010, the U135 and U160.
The MSI Wind U Series has already realized massive sales of over 1 million units globally, so MSI had a special one-millionth classic edition netbook activity and also displayed the 10″ U135 and the U160. These netbooks all feature the latest generation CPU platform from Intel with the choice of 3.5G or WiMAX connectivity, with the U160’s exterior retaining its popular ultra-thin, stylish design.

The upcoming 10.1” MSI Wind U135 netbook is now available, or at least appears in stock, at Buy.com, in a black model, model no. U135-204US, for $329.99.
There are no specs listed other an an 10-inch display, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Windows 7 Starter. There’s no picture even. I would expect other stores to have the MSI Wind U135 in stock very shortly.
It’ll be available in black, red, blue and white colors. Futher specs from MSI’s product pages: 10” 1024 x 600 display, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 6-cell battery, 1.3MP webcam.

According to an article posted on Crunchgear, MSI is hard at work to release a new netbook loaded with Windows 7 Starter. The model number will be U230, which has specifications that look eerily similar to the HP DM3z. It will have the following specs:

Even if I think netbooks will die in 2010, there are still lots of great models coming out to keep people craving them. One example is the MSI Wind U110. This 10 inch netbook packs a 9 cell battery which allows it to last a marathon length of 15 hours. It also packs a 160GB hard drive, 1.6Ghz processor and other specs which help to solidy it’s position as a netbook.

It turns out that netbooks aren’t immune to the slowdown in economies all over the world. Last year MSI, Acer, and Asus were very confident in their ability to ship more netbooks than they’ve ever been able to. Unfortunately the reality doesn’t fit that expectation.
