The Lenovo X100e and Asus 1201T are very comparable when it comes to their specs.  Both are powered by AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processors and offer screens larger than the typical size of 10 inches.  Their hard drives are over 200GB and they both use ATI HD3200 graphics.

Lenovo took some time to evaluate the prospect of Linux of several of the netbooks.  They decided that it wasn’t worth it and took a pass.  It came down to customers just not knowing enough about Linux to make it a worthwhile decision.

Dell has been doing a lot of advertising lately, almost to the point that you’d think that there weren’t any other brands selling netbooks.  Lenovo, not wanting to be left out, has a deal of it’s own it wants to promote.
The 10-inch version of their IdeaPad S10 netbook is only $409, down from $439.
