With so many 10 inch netbooks out and available LaptopMag compared several 10 inch netbooks with the Intel N450 Atom processor from Dell, Acer, HP, Lenovo, and Toshiba to find out which is the best.  To come to that conclusion they compared the look and feel, keyword, battery life, and software.  

Some HP Mini 311 owners are reporting issues with sound while using their netbook.  If you’ve been experiencing this issue there is a fix you can try courtesy of MyHPMini.com:
Open Control Panel -> Device Manager. Go to IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers. Choose the Nvidia nForce Serial ATA Controller.
Go to the Driver tab. Click Update Driver. Choose Browse my computer for driver software. Click Let me pick from list of device drivers.
Select the Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller. Click Next, Okay, or whatever it asks for, and you’re done.

The HP 210 has been available for a while but the HD version seems especially delicious.  Not only will you get a better “HD” screen, you’ll also be able to add a Broadcom HD Decoder card for only $35.  To put that into perspective you’d have to pay about the same amount of money just to order one from eBay not including the time to install it.
The HP 210HD starts at $329, but is well worth a look.  You can check this netbook out here.

This netbook deal of the day comes from eCost.com.  They are selling the HP 110-1045DX for $232.99.  This is a 10.1 inch netbook with a 160GB hard drive, 1 GB RAM, webcam, Wi-fi, 3 cell battery and Windows XP.  In addition it also include a 3G WAN card to allow you to connect to CDMA2000 EV-DO and UMTS HSPA wireless networks.

Now that HP has announced their new line of netbooks, something had to happen to the old ones.  Now when you check out HP’s website you’ll see their new Mini 210 series up and their older 110 series all but gone.  The 110-1050NR and the 110-1035NR remain, but it’s all for a great cause.
With new processors, and video cards which will provide longer battery life it’s a win for everyone involved.

HP has been hard at work retooling their 2010 line of netbooks.  Instead of only going after the low end usually dominated by Acer and Asus, they’ve decide to go upmarket provided additional features to help go after a different market of customers.
Pictured above is the HP 5102.  This netbook is going to come equipped with a N450 processor and Broadcom video card to help make watching 1080p video a breeze.  It will also come with a 2MP webcam versus the .3MP or 1.3MP cameras which come with other netbooks.

After being widely discussed for weeks, the CQ10 is now available for order.  It’s starting out at under $260 but unlike the HP Mini 210, this netbook features the older N270 processor.  The price is still great because at $259.99 you get all of the standard netbook features:
-10.1 inch screen (1024 x 600)
- 160GB hard drive, 1GB of ram
- 3 cell battery
- Windows XP operating system

In all of the commotion and announcements of N450 Pine Trail processor based netbook, it looks like one may have slipped through the cracks.  The Compaq CQ10 will be very similar to the upcoming HP Mini 210 as far as the specs go:
