After doing my review of the eM250 netbook, I wanted to think even broader about what people may be interested in.  The first thing which came to mind were larger capacity batteries.
With a 3 cell battery only being able to power the eM250 for only a few hours it makes sense to consider a way to keep your netbook running longer.  The eM250 and the D250 use the same batteries which is the basis for these recommendation.

My eMachines eM250-1162 Netbook Review

After all of the comments people have been leaving on the site I finally decide to go and buy my own EM250-1162 to give it a spin. I ended up paying $228 + tax ($240 in Maryland) and made my way home to unbox this beauty.

Ever since December there was a lot of buzz surrounding the eM250 from eMachines.  The advantage was that it was selling for only $228 which is a very low amount for a retail store.  It turns out that originally Walmart didn’t have the eM250 available on the website at all.  The only way you’d be able to get your hands on one would be to call your local store, drive there and pick one up.

A user over at CNET had a chance to get their hands on an eMachines netbook from Walmart and decided to share his thoughts.  Here they are:
Here’s the rundown.
1. HULU. It’s not perfect but it did work. If you must have perfect playback, don’t run HULU full screen.
2. WATTS. I have a P3 Watt meter and it is serving up a network share and after the screen went off the Watt meter is showing 8 WATTS. Take that NAS!
