Learn more about the developments and updates which are coming to netbooks on display during CeBIT 2010.

The Asus 1005PR is a Intel N450 based netbook with Broadcom Crystal HD decoder and 1366 x 768 resolution.

The N1200 from Averatec is the slimmest netbook at just over 2lbs with a N450 processor, 1GB of RAM and Windows XP.

The new Asus 1201PN gets benchmarked and does better it’s ION counterparts.

ION 2 will come in an 8-core version for 10 inch netbooks and a 16-core version for larger netbooks.

Asus is showing off a bunch of new products at CeBit 2010.  One of them is the new Asus 1201PN.  The PN derivative is different from other Asus 1201 series netbook in that it will include Nvidia’s ION 2 chipset.  This is the second netbook which will be using this technology after the Acer 532g.
Other specs for the 1201PN include 1.66Ghz N450 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 6 cell battery.  No word on when it will go on sale in the US or pricing.

Gigabyte is one first manufacturers coming out with a N470 based netbook.  This time it’s the Touchnote T1000 which is a convertible tablet-turn-netbook.  There will be two different flavors, the T1000X and T1000P.  The former will have a 4 cell battery while the latter will come with a 6 cell battery.
As far specs go, both netbooks will have 1GB of RAM, a 250GB HDD and Intel GMA 3150 graphics, along with WiFi b/g/n, 10/100 ethernet and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. You can also expect them to have at least two USB …

There’s nothing like a trade show to get everyone excited.  All kinds of new things are going to get announced during the show and it looks like some people just can’t wait until the show begins to start announcing things.
Intel is rumored to be launching their N470 processor (the faster version of the N450 Pine Trail processor).
Asus is rumored to be unveiling a line of high end netbooks wrapped up in metal.
Acer has already announced their 532g with Nvidia’s ION 2 graphics.
It looks like no one wants to be upstaged …
