Back in June, I wrote about the 1016P coming to the US.  Now it looks like the waiting is over and you can now officially buy the 1016P from stores like Amazon.com.  While the specs on this netbook seem plentiful, the price is a little off whack.

At $489, you’d be able to buy the latest and greatest netbook with a 12″ screen, HDMI input, and other new features.  As far as what you do get, the 1016P comes equipped with the following:
