The N450 netbook processor has been out since the beginning of the year and it’s about time things got shaken up. This will take place with the introduction of the N475 Intel Atom processor which is finding it’s way into mid-range netbook computers.
- The N475 processor is clocked at 1.83GHz vs. only 1.66GHz with the N450
- The N475 will be paired with DDR3 memory versus just DDR2 memory being used with the N450
- N475 power consumption comes in at 6.5 watts whereas the N450 uses a comparable 5.5 watts
