Just when you thought Acer fell off the face of the earth they go ahead and do something to make sure you don’t forget who they are.  This time, they do it with the introduction of the Acer AO533.  The model number is appropriate as their previous model is labeled as the 532.

The AO533 brings a few new things to the table to help it compete with Asus and all of the new models they’re announcing.

First of all, the AO533 comes in several different flavors.  Some come with the N455 Atom processor with others come with the N475 processor.  Either way these netbooks will come with DDR3 memory instead of DDR2 memory.

Aside from those two differences everything else is pretty much the same.  The 10 inch screens come with 1024 x 600 resolution screens, 250GB hard drives, Windows 7 Starter and 6 cell batteries.
