I think this post is a little premature. The Broadcom HD card has been reported missing on a few cards, you may notice on Amazon, Newegg and J&R all have the same guy (David) reporting the missing card. Since he is everywhere it makes it seem more widespread. Those who have the card, report some stuttering until they update their Flash player to the latest beta and everything works great! Everyone who has had a functioning model has reported 5 star ratings. As many of us probably know, updating to the Beta is necessary for all the HD netbooks already out such as the HP and Dell.

The screen brightness issue reported in the forum above is also mentioned on Amazon; both post are again by our friend David. It would appear that his issue is related to replacing the RAM which is used for the graphics. Also another issue is updating to the latest Intel drivers and replacing the ones from Asus have also been known to cause problems. Since the 1005PR is not yet on their website, you have to download the drivers for the 1005PE and get the latest Broadcom one from Broadcom.com.

As far as the windows upgrade, if you read that post it's not an issue simply the person asking for assistance on how to do it. Nearly every review currently posted, the owner has upgraded to Home Premium and have not mentioned one hiccup.
