MyMacNetbook.com – The Last Hackintosh Guide You’ll Ever Need

People who are curious about turning their netbook into a hackintosh have already made the decision to throw caution to the wind and take their netbook into a new dimension.  Once the movement caught on a few years ago people have been trying with every new model to try and place OS X on it.

One of the largest communities of people looking to turn netbooks into faux-Macbooks is Insanelymac.com.  I’ve pointed to the site several times with guides and how-tos which have come to my attention.

MyMacNetbook takes a lot of the clutter of the Insanelymac forum where people are asking questions, getting off topics or just sounding off.  At the site you’ll be able to find compatibility guides so you’ll know what features will and won’t work once you get OS X on there.  You’ll also be able to find step-by-step guides so even if you don’t know how to do it all from beginning to end you have all of the resources you need.

I’ve never gone down that road, mostly out of lack of time and patience but it’s starting to look real interesting.  With a new 1101HA being shipped to my office I might just take a walk on the wild side and see what happens.
