The HP Mini 210 HD is one of the few netbook you can get with a Broadcom HD decoder as an option. It’s also one of the privileged few netbooks which has the N470 Atom processor as an available option.
The N470 provides the power savings as the N450 but also provides more processing power. The N470 is clocked at 1.83GHz while the N450 is clocked at 1.66GHz.
Stepping the processor up isn’t a cheap upgrade. HP charges $75 for the pleasure. If you play around with the configurations it’s possible to get a 210 HD with the N470 chip for around $400.
Any takers?
