The Dell Latitude D430 isn’t a netbook by the classic definition but it meet the standard in other ways. First, it has a 12″ screen typical of netbooks like the Asus 1201N. Second it doesn’t have a built in drive. Third it’s priced under $300. One thing which makes it different a netbook is the processor. This D430 comes with a Intel Core 2 Duo U7600. While the U7600 is only clocked at 1.2GHz, it’s dual core which means it will be better when for multitasking.
Here are the rest of the specs:
- Intel Core 2 Duo U7600 1.20 GHz dual-core processor
- 60GB hard drive
- Intel GMA 950 graphics
- 802.11b/g
- 12.1″ screen
- 6 cell battery
- 2GB DDR2 RAM
