Asus 1201N, 1201T Netbooks Get Compared

By just looking at the 1201N and 1201T you could almost mistake one for the other. While one is powered with an Intel Atom processor and the other is powered by an AMD MV-40 their exteriors can be deceiving.
To help better understand the differences in their specs and performance, Yugatech took both machines and compared the Windows Experience scores. These scores allow you to see how Microsoft rates each of the individual systems for the respective netbooks. You’ll see that the 1201N takes the overall lead when compared to the 1201T.
What has not been decided is how much the 1201T will sell for if (or when) it goes on sale in the US. If it sells for close to the $499 MSRP of the 1201N, AMD and Asus will have set the model up for failure. At $399 or even $429 with an HDMI port many people would likely decide to save the money and pick up a 1201T.
