AMD Netbook Battle: Toshiba T115D-S1125 vs. MSI Wind12 U230

The T115D-S1125 and MSI Wind12 U230 are both netbooks powered by the L335 AMD processor.  Both netbooks have ATI HD3200 graphics and 6 cell batteries.  The question is what makes them different and if one is in fact better.

The MSI U230 has the following advantages:
- 12.1″ screen
- 802.11n Wi-fi
- Gigabit ethernet
- Destress keyboard

The Toshiba T115D has the following advantages:
- Sleep and charge (charges electronics while the computer isn’t actively being used)

With both netbooks selling for approximately $500 the U230-040US is clearly the best choice.

Agree? Disagree? Feel free to share in the comments.

The Toshiba comes with windows 7 64 bit doesn't it? I belive the Wind only has 32-bit. Does a 64-bit operating have any speed advantages at the moment?

Can you comment on the U230's trackpad and buttons? The Toshiba's button(s) are just awful...and keeping me from buying one

Hey Joseph, while reading the review for the U230 on testfreaks.com they
didn't mention much about the trackpad or buttons. This leads me to believe
that they are acceptable at worst and might even be pretty decent. I've
read about the Toshiba problems and have read about it firsthand as well.
