After AMD, Nvidia Next To Take Piece, Cash From Intel
In a video interview with CNN (below), the CEO of Nvidia makes it plain and clear that they aren’t on very good terms with Intel. Intel is fighting tooth and nail to keep Nvidia out of it’s netbooks, notebooks, an desktops and for good reason. Nvidia is laying claim wherever it can whether it be Tegra chips getting into MP3 players, Tegra 2 chips making their way into smartbooks, and ION2 graphics being added into netbooks. Intel has sued Nvidia, and Nvidia has sued back.
The question is if all of this will make things better in the end. If Intel feels threatened by Nvidia now how much better would it behave by having a judgment against them. This seems like one of the situations where no one is going to win, except for maybe the lawyers.
