X100e And Asus 1201T Face Off
The Lenovo X100e and Asus 1201T are very comparable when it comes to their specs. Both are powered by AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 1.6GHz processors and offer screens larger than the typical size of 10 inches. Their hard drives are over 200GB and they both use ATI HD3200 graphics.
Despite their similarities their benchmarks tell a different story. The two were put head to head and the 1201T pulled ahead of it’s Lenovo lookalike. The one area where the X100e performed better than the 1201T is with the Disk Mark test. This speaks more to the kind of hard drive used in the 1201T versus the overall ability of the unit.

Lot of people are beginning to like the X100e because it provides some advantage over standard netbooks. It isn’t the cheapest but it offers what many netbooks currently do not; a TrackPoint mouse.
The 1201T is currently not available in the US, but the X100e is available from Amazon for $449.
