Toshiba T115D Owners Reporting TouchPad Issues

Uh oh. It looks like Toshiba is making a lot of people unhappy because of issues relating to the touchpad in their T115D netbooks.
According to a thread on notebookreviews.com people are reporting that the pad lags while in operation. Someone in Toshiba’s forum appears to have come up with a solution:
Double click on touch pad icon in your system tray. click on “Pointer Options”.
Then click on “Advanced” tab in left upper corner. Click on Advanced Feature setting.
Click on “Settings” in Pointer speed and tapping setting box.
Uncheck “Enable Tap” box. Click Apply.
Some people have suggested another option where you remove the driver which comes with the netbook and replace it with the Windows generic driver. It doesn’t improve the condition of the touchpad greatly and remove the multitouch capabilities.
