Overclock Your 1101HA Netbook With Any 2GB RAM

The Super Hybrid Engine is what allows you take overclock your Asus Eee PC netbook above what Intel gives you.  There has long been an issue for owners of the 1101HA 11.6″ model.

The issue would take place when someone would add in a 2GB RAM module.  After installing the memory users would find that their ability to update this feature in the BIOS disappeared.  It turns out that a solution has been figured out so that any 2GB RAM can be used and work without removing this functionality.

By updating certain features of the memory chips themselves the computer recognizes them differently which allows them to no longer interfere with the SHE.  It takes a lot of steps so if you aren’t 100% sure that you can follow the directions it’s best to not even try to do it.
