If you own a netbook with a Z520 or Z530 processor your netbook comes with GMA 500 graphics.  While this video card is suitable for browsing the web you might find yourself needing a boost when watching online video or trying to play games.  It turns out that it all comes down to the drivers.

According to MyDellMini.com, several forum members have provided sources for alternative drivers which will speed up video rendering, and lower the total amount of video memory your netbook needs to use.  People in the forum were able to improve performance on Windows XP and Windows 7 netbooks so you might experience some issues if you’re using Windows Vista.
