  • Windows XP is a little outdated now isn't it?

Not at all. A lot of people may flock to Windows 7 but for all of the benefits it's been know to rob netbooks of some battery performance. My netbook (Asus 1000HE) has XP and it seems fine.

If you're trying to do more than just work on the web, I can see how Windows 7 may be more desirable.
