The 1001P Asus netbook just popped up on Amazon.com with a $339 price tag.  It isn’t available to be shipped at the time of this writing but it should start shipping in the earlier part of 2010.

Previously the 1001P showed up in the UK for sale but Asus is committed to driving up sales and bringing it’s Pine Trail netbooks over is a great way to help to achieve that goal.
