Jolicloud & Chrome OS To Fight For Netbook Relevance

Whenever Google in involved, it usually means trouble for other companies in the same space. Google has billions in the bank on the back of their pay per click ads and is branching out to provide people an easy way to search, find, and click on more ads. The Chrome OS isn’t widely available but it’s getting a lot of buzz.
Jolicloud, which has been around for a while has a thing or two to say about Chrome OS. They are working with hardware partners to ensure their OS gets preinstalled as well as continuing to innovate to stay one step ahead.
It will be a good fight to see how it pans out. I’m willing to try out Jolicloud on my 1000HE, but I’m pretty sure I’ll switch back to Windows since I live on Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
