Intel To Refresh CULV Processors Q2 2010

The chart above refers to netbook manufacturers plan in 2009, but in 2010 it’s safe to assume that a refresh will take place to Intel line of CULV processors.  They are already refreshing their lower end Atom processors with their Pine Trail processors.  The big question is where graphics will come into play with these new processors.

The N450 Atom processor will have no proper support for watching HD video and may even be ill equipped to stream regular online content.  This is a move by Intel to make sure their product lines don’t blend.  Customers looking to getting the ability to watch video online will have to get an ION or ION 2 while people looking to get the best price will enjoy all that Pine Trail has to offer.

Announcements from Intel may come with CES 2010 taking place in Las Vegas.
