Early Asus 1201N Buyers Reporting 3 Cell Batteries Instead Of 6 Cell

Dear Newegg,

Please update the product description for the 1201N to make sure people know it only has a 3 CELL instead of a 6 CELL battery. You guys have wowed millions of customers by having great prices and great service so I don’t think this was done on purpose. Here’s the thing though, you have people who are buying, trying and likely returning this computer because of the omission. That means that guys like me who were really waiting for one can’t buy one. I’m not sure what’s so different about the version you’re selling and the one B&H and ZipZoomFly are selling but something is definitely wrong.

Does the information you’ve received say it should have a 6 cell 63Wh Lithium Ion battery? If so, something funny is going on. If not, I suggest you get a hold of the 6 cell version everyone else is selling because there is no price difference.

I realize I’m not sending this to you directly, but I’ve learned that taking the roundabout approach helps carry the message louder than the direct approach.
