The folks over at Netbooked.net caught wind of the new Asus 1201T netbook.  It’s going to end up very similar to the 1201HA with a few tradeoffs.  While the 1201T will feature AMDs Congo processor and ATI video card it won’t have an HDMI port which takes it out of the league of the 1201N.

On the plus side, it will boast 2GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive.  On the down side it will have Windows 7 on it which is sure to make it perform slower than it would if it were running Windows XP and also it will only have a .3 MP webcam which may make video conferencing a nightmare.

The real news here is that the product detail page is now up and live on Asus’ Global website.  Based on the specs and timing I’d imagine that this netbook will come out at $399 or $449 at the highest.  Only time will tell how off I am.
