Lenovo took some time to evaluate the prospect of Linux of several of the netbooks. They decided that it wasn’t worth it and took a pass. It came down to customers just not knowing enough about Linux to make it a worthwhile decision.
People who buy netbooks like using programs like Apple iTunes. The only problem is that there’s no version of iTunes for Linux. This was prompting people to become unsatisfied and return their computers. No computer company can stay afloat with high returns so Lenovo decided to stick with Windows.
