I’m not sure if this is a marketing gimmick or what, but I’m willing to play along. Almost everyone around the web has reported on the disappearance of the Mini 12 from Dell’s home website. I was looking at picking up a bigger brother to my Asus Eee PC and decided to click under “Small & Medium sized businesses” to buy it under my corporate name and account.
To make a long story short, I decided to look at the Mini’s and BAM – there was the Mini 12 looking at me in the face.
I couldn’t believe it myself, but it’s there. It says “test” on the page so I’m not sure if Dell meant to have this page laying around but it’s awefully confusing. This whole sordid story is starting to get interesting.
