2GB DDR SODIMM Upgrade For Your Netbook

18 August 2009 29 views View Comments

One of the mistakes I made and won’t make ever again is using my netbook with the 1GB of RAM it came with.  It’s true that my 1000HE boots up in what seems like no time at all, the real problem happens when I want to do something slightly intense like scan an image into my netbook from my Canon scanner.  I’m sure you’ve probably experienced something similar with your own netbook.

The good part is that making the change took very little time and money.  The first thing I did was pick up a 2GB stick of memory from BuyDig.com.  It was from a brand I knew, Crucial and at $24.99 with free shipping the price seemed good with 1GB sticks going for almost $20 on most websites.

I don’t know if I live close to their warehouse or what the case was but the free shipping got the memory to me in about three business days.

Once I got the memory, I only needed to unscrew one screw at the base of the netbook, pop the old 1GB stick out and put the 2GB stick in and it worked.

If you want to pick up some extra memory for your netbook, go ahead and check out CT25664AC667 from BuyDig.com for $24.99 today.
