Many may argue but there are two different types of netbooks – those with Windows and those without.  Whether it’s Apple, or Intel it almost doesn’t matter who makes the operating system if it isn’t Microsoft.  This may sound pompous until you realize why it doesn’t matter.

Synaptics rules.
They’re showing off a trackpad for use in netbooks which allow you to use gesture similar to how you’re able to do it on an Apple Macbook.  This would remove the need for having left and right mouse buttons which lends it’self to the small size and sometimes cramped space which plagues most netbooks.

Asus was busy over at this years Computex.  Among the many things they unveiled was the 11.6 inch 1101HA netbook.  Following the release of the 1008HA, the 1101HA is part of the Seashell series and here are some of the specs:

With the size of netbook getting past seven or eight inches and getting into double digit screen sizes it begs the question if netbook are pricing themselves out of favorability.
People, looking for value may like the portability of a netbook but not the pricetag.  Even with my own 1000HE, if I added an extra $50 or $75 dollars I would have been able to have gotten a full notebook with a 15 inch screen and a media drive.  While it’s true that many people use their netbook to connect to …

As the internet became full of the buzz that Dell would no longer be making or selling their Mini 9 many people wondered why.  It was heralded for being great at being hacked and turned into a hackintosh, it fit nicely in the lineup of other Mini netbooks from Dell – it just didn’t make sense.  Then it hit me, it must have to do with money!
