A couple of things jumped out at me after looking at these specs. First of all, it’s amazing to hear that a company is making a 12″ with a price tag of under $400. Also, with the six cell battery you’ll be able to get up to 8 hours of performance — another great feature. While all of this is fine and good, the problem arises when you get to the processor.
A 1.22Ghz processor is great if you want your battery to last, but there’s no way you’re going to be able to do more than just surf the web with a CPU that slow. Cutting costs is great, but people are going to get the wrong impression about what a netbook when they get 9 out of 10 things they want and the one thing they don’t get is what cam have the greatest impact on the performance of their netbook.
