It almost isn’t fair.
Intel may have been given a run for their money when AMD came out with their Athlon 64 processors, but since then Intel has been able to move quicker, more decisively, and with greater profitability than AMD.  In light of Intel’s $1.45 billion fine from the European Union, they may be facing even more fines and charges over their new Pineview platform.
Why?

Bloggingstocks.com is reporting that while AT&T initially started in markets like Atlanta to test out netbooks, they’ll soon be taking it to the whole nation.  When the idea first came out about carrier subsidized netbooks, people didn’t really believe that there was a market for it.  They were wrong.
Whether you’re a college student, or a traveler being able to access your information wherever you can get a wireless signal helps people do what they want to do and more and more people are willing to pay for that independence.  $59/month …

Fire up your credit cards.  The Mini 10v is now available.  This is great since it’s a 10 inch netbook for $299.
For that price you’re going to get a 1.6Ghz N270 Atom processor, 120GB hard drive, and a 3 cell battery.  Regardless for the price and considering what else is available out there, it seems like a great deal compared to the other netbooks in the market.
Don’t get me wrong, I still love my 1000HE (reviewed here) but if you’re looking for value the Dell Mini 10v deserves your attention.

This is great if you’re looking to score a netbook on the cheap, but there are a lot of things which don’t smell too good here.  No problem against Verizon, or HP.  These are both great companies but the combined deal seems a little off.
First, AT&T is running a similar …
