Dell Ditches Dell…Backpedals To “Lifestyle” Instead

Aww…poor Dell. I’m sure they only meant good and only wanted to follow up in the tradition of products and brands geared towards women. You only have to walk around an electronics store to find a new selection of pink “female-centric” gear.
Now if you search for Della, you’re brought to a page which looks just like the original page but instead it’s geared towards different lifestyles without calling women out specifically.
Overall, it’s a good move. No one understood what the difference was. If they provided different software or options to make them more appealing to women, it would still be sexist but at least they’d have something to show for it.
