Asus has just released their new 1008HA netbook.  They are continuing to go upmarket and providing netbooks with more features to make them an even more compelling decision.  The 1008HA (aka Seashell) take a slim body design and add a few extras into the imx.

First is bluetooth, which is a great idea if you want to be able to hook your cell phone up to your computer in order to use the internet or transfer files.  Next is multi-touch.  This allows you to use gestures with your fingers to zoom into web pages and for other functions.  This is the same thing innovation behind the screen on the iPhone.  Toss in the LED backlit screen and the six hour battery and you have a great netbook which only retails for $409.
