I wanted to follow up on my earlier post and report that there has been a resolution. It turns out that AT&T didn’t reset his 5GB monthly cap. I didn’t realize it was something that had to be performed manually since they’re a multinational telecommunications company but once he went in and got it taken care of he was all set.
His internet now works 100%.

With AT&T already in the business of pairing netbooks with 3G data service, Verzion is looking to get into the business.
According to Bloomberg:
The Verizon netbooks will initially be sold in the company’s stores, and retail partners also may stock them, the person familiar with the situation said. AT&T, based in Dallas, sells netbooks from Acer Inc. and Dell Inc.
Customers would probably pay about $100 for the machines, with Verizon subsidizing the rest, or about two-thirds of the cost, King said. The analyst advises investors to buy Verizon Communications Inc. shares …
Acer Aspire Netbooks »
A friend of mine picked up an Acer Aspire One, and is pairing with AT&T’s 3G service. He was able to get his netbook for 50% off in exchange for paying $59/month for the next 24 months. The problem now is that he’s unable to connect to the internet.
When he turns his computer on, he’s able to verify that he indeed has service but when he tries to connect to AT&T’s network he gets an “Error 619″ code. Now I was able to look up and find out that there …
