The Samsung NC10 netbook has been making waves all over the world and especially in Europe. The 10.2″ netbook is available in both black and white (pictured below).

In either color, you’re going to get phenomenal battery life with some claims of up to 8 hours with the six cell battery it comes with.

By using Google Insight for Search, you’ll see that searches for the Samsung netbook surged in September 2008.  Not only have searches surged, but they’re up in some pretty interesting places.  Number 1 is Hong Kong but after that are some of the biggest European countries: UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Ireland.  By comparison the NC10 is being searched minimally in comparison in the US indicating the buzz hasn’t hit there yet.

US Retailers are charging around $500 which is a lot higher than the MSI U100 which is has similar specs.  Once the price comes down, American may start considering the NC10 as an option.
