Everyone Covers HP Mini 1000 3G
If you’ve been online today, the big story across the web is that the HP Mini 1000 supports 3G or it was molded to allow a SIM to be inserted into it.
More than three weeks ago, this was mentioned on several site, but it’s just now coming alive. Electricpig in the UK was one of the first to cover it.
Today, you can find similar reports on your favorite netbook-reporting blog:
-Gizmodo: gizmodo.com/5097493/hp-mini-1000-already-supports-3g
-Liliputing: www.liliputing.com/2008/11/how-to-enable-the-hp-mini-1000s-3g-modem.html
-Engadget: www.engadget.com/2008/11/24/hp-mini-1000-now-supporting-3g/
Since it’s hard to speak more about something everyone is already speaking about the only other option is to report on the people reporting on other reports. We may not be too far off from netbooks being released to carriers the same way the iPhone was, in several countries which support GSM to help drive adoption.
