Eee PC 904HA Netbook – Best Deal
After looking at the Acer Aspire One, and the Dell Mini 9 the ASUS Eee PC 904HA is the best value hands down. First of all, it comes with a 6 cell battery standard. For most manufacturers that would be an additional $59 - $129 on top of the price you’ve already paid for the netbook and it’s puny 3 or 4 cell battery.
Next, it comes with Windows XP standard. You won’t have to worry about using Linux or returning it because you don’t know how to use it. It will the same experience as any other computer you’ve used with Windows XP, just smaller.
Third, it comes with 1GB RAM standard. To be able to get this from Dell, it’s going to cost you extra and if you want to be able to use your netbook with ease 1GB is probably the minimum you can use and not curse your computer out on a daily basis.
Lastly, from a price standpoint you almost can’t beat it. You can snag one online for under $400 which doesn’t sound that good until you compare the rest of the netbooks out on the market and see that you’d be spend $500 – $600 to get the same specs from another company.
This isn’t a sales pitch, but the 904HA somehow flew under the radar and with millions preparing to buy netbooks as gifts and for themselves personally the choice can be hard. When these kinds of values present themselves it almost make it too easy to decide.
