The 1002HA is very similar to the S101, except it comes with a hard drive instead of a SSD drive. The 1002HA will come with the start netbook parts aside from that, 1.6Ghz Atom processor, 1GB RAM, and a chassis that’s a mix between the older 902HA and the newer S101.

If you can wait until December, you should be able to get your hand on one for $499. What many site haven’t picked on is the brother to the 1002HA, the 1002SA.

The 1002SA is a lot closer to the S101 with it using an SSD. The 1002HA, 1002SA, and S101 all use the same 4900 mAh battery. This shows an attempt by Asus to add more products without making too many changes from their premium product offerings.
