It would be crazy to believe that netbooks are going to be the best selling product this holiday season.  With their prices ranging from $300 – $450, it will be an easier decision for parents who were considering paying $500+ for a replacement computer for their teenager.

If anything, netbooks won’t be number one but they’ll definitely be number three after GPS devices and music players.  At their current prices, it’s possible for lots of parents to get a netbook for their child to do homework, research, and play games.  Somewhere Apple has to be shaking a little bit since netbooks will make up for a lot of people unable to plunk down $1000+ for a Mac.
